I saved a test copy which puts the libraries back to v16.0 but, again, the problem stays. It was always fine without and even when initially saving on the newer versions of Excel, but since changing the libraries back to v14.0, this issue has remained. in front of it (eg, VBA.Date, VBA.Left(), VBA.Environ(), VBA.Format(), etc). However, now the 2010 users have restored the 14.0 object libraries, when I try using any macros in the file that use functions from the VBA library, it fails to compile ('Compile Error: Can't find project or library') if the function isn't qualified with VBA. We've agreed that my colleague and I won't save the file and just use it in read only until I can come up with a solution, as it's better that 2 users don't amend it rather than many users. When a 2010 user then accesses the file, they have to remove the missing 16.0 library references and reinstate the 14.0 references. When I save the file, it automatically overwrites the older Object Libraries with the newer versions. The rest of the team are still on 2010 which uses the 14.0 Object Libraries. One other person and I were upgraded to Office 2016 and 365 respectively, which both use the 16.0 Object Libraries in VBA. I have a macro-enabled workbook at work that I share with my team.
